A CBSE school for Model Town families: The Shri Ram Universal School, Sarabha Nagar
Model Town is one of Ludhiana's most established neighbourhoods, and its families rightly expect a great deal from a school. We would love for you to come to Sarabha Nagar and judge us in person.
You will find us at Block D, behind Main Market, Sarabha Nagar, Ludhiana 141001 (also known as Kipps Market).
What your child will find here
The Shri Ram Universal School, Sarabha Nagar is a CBSE school (affiliation no. 1631479) from Nursery to Grade X, and Pre-Nursery opens from 2027-28. No class has more than 30 children, and each wing as a whole works at a 1:10 teacher-student ratio. German begins in Grade 2.
In 2025-26, our Grade X students achieved a 100% pass result in the board exams, with a top score of 96.8%. CFore named us Best Emerging School in 2025 and again in 2026, ranking us #1 in Ludhiana, #1 in Punjab and #10 in India. In our PTM feedback, parents rate us 4.9 out of 5. We are also part of the Shri Ram network, which, network-wide, has 50+ schools in 20+ cities and 9+ states, with 70,000+ students and 2,500+ teachers.
For younger children, read about our Early Years; for Grades 1 to 5, see our Primary Years.
For Model Town families
Parents from Model Town and Model Town Extension usually want strong results without losing sight of the child. That is why we keep classes to a maximum of 30, so teachers come to know each child well, and why German starts as early as Grade 2. The bus ride from Model Town is usually around 40 to 50 minutes, depending on where you live and the morning traffic, so ask us for the likely pick-up time when you call.
Getting to school
Our AC buses cover the whole of Ludhiana city, Model Town and Model Town Extension included. Every bus has GPS tracking and CCTV, and travels with a driver, a conductor and a female attendant. We plan pick-up points and times once we know where our new families live, so please ask us when you call or visit. Read more on our transport page.
In summer, school runs from 7:50 AM to 2:30 PM. In winter, school starts at 8:50 AM and children leave at 3:30 PM. Our office is open from 7:30 AM to 5 PM, Monday to Friday, and until 3 PM on Saturday.
